SHOW ME CANNABIS REGULATION BEGINS NOW!
The Secretary of State has approved the petitions. We will be holding public meetings periodically throughout the area until there is an official campaign office. If you ever thought about getting involved with this movement, now is the time to help. Anyone who is over 18 can participate in gathering signatures to put the Show Me Cannabis Regulation measure on the ballot.
Missouri Ballot Initiative
July 6, 2022 – Show-Me Cannabis filed in Jefferson City for a statewide ballot initiative to regulate legal commerce of the cannabis hemp plant in Missouri. We are planning our first training session to help volunteers learn about the initiative and the legal process behind it. Enough signatures will need to be gathered around the state in order to place the issue on the ballot in Missouri for the Presidential election cycle.
Anyone who wants to help should make plans to attend a training session to be ready to start gathering signatures as soon as the ballot language becomes offical and the petitions are ready to circulate. UPDATE: SEPT 2022 — The petition had some legal language issues that have since been fixed. It has been rebumitted and the campaign expects to have them ready in the next few weeks.
